There are few events that brought as much emotion as we felt at the Iwo Jima Victory Ride. Overwhelmed would be one as we worked to plan the ride. Not because of the amount of work as Gary and Marianne from the Iwo Jima Survivors Association shouldered the majority of what needed to be done. More because the enormity of the battle in history and the bravery of those who fought there. More impressive was that actual Marines that survived the battle were in attendance. It was a privilege to be in their presence.
While there were feelings of honor and pride tempered with our sense of loss, it was gratitude that finally won out. The Haymond law Firm and Connecticut Cruise News want to thank all who give and are prepared to give, the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms. We dedicate these photos to the men and women of the military both past and present. God bless America. Home of the brave.
