Norwalk, Connecticut lies on the outskirts of New York City’s metropolitan area along the Eastern Seaboard of the United States. Census 2000 shows Norwalk's population at 82,951 which ranks it as the sixth largest city in CT. Once known as “Oyster Town”, Norwalk produces CT’s largest oyster crop and is home to Tallmadge Brothers, the largest oyster company in the nation. Several other prominent companies, such as Media Storm LLC, priceline.com and SoBe, operate their headquarters from Norwalk.
