Attorney Coleen Mills

Coleen has been practicing law for nearly 20 years. She graduated from Sacred Heart University in 1988 with a degree in Legal Administration. She worked for several years as a paralegal for a prominent personal injury law firm and had the opportunity to witness first hand the impact an attorney can provide to a family in need.

After graduating from The University of Connecticut School of Law in 1997 her first job was as a defense attorney for a private law firm representing insurance companies. Since that time has worked exclusively as an advocate for injured clients.

This experience is invaluable as Coleen is able to provide feedback to her clients regarding the perspective of the insurance companies and the tactics they employ. Coleen knows that every client is unique and she works hard to listen to and understand each clients’ individual situation in order to obtain the best possible results.

Coleen has tried countless cases to verdict and handles her files from inception through completion. Coleen represents clients who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, dog bites, and premises liability cases.

In her free time, Coleen enjoys spending time with her two teenage children, enjoys reading and cooking for her family and friends and is also an avid tennis player. As a mother and an athlete, these attributes allow her to take a strong and maternal approach to each and every client relationship and their individual case.

She is licensed to practice in both Connecticut State and Federal courts.
