Liquor Liability Case Example

The bartender refused to serve him unless he turned over his keys. Larry did turn over his keys, continued drinking, and ultimately went into an alcohol-induced blackout. The last thing he remembered was drinking at the bar. Despite continuing to serve him, the bartender then returned Larry’s keys to him. Larry rode away from the bar and got on the wrong side of a limited-access highway. He was struck by an oncoming vehicle and lost his right leg at the knee and his job due to the injury.
